i believe that voters are nor responsible for criminalisation of political parties, this criminalisation is politician's creativity. They work more for their self being and less for the general public. India even being a democratic country, our ploitics lack in transparency.
Today;'s voters are uneducated, they dont know even what political party has done for the country, for their state and for their local region. I have nt seen much of youth fulfilling their moral responsibility of voting, many of them dont have voting cards even. its just becuase they have lost their interest/ faith in politics.
now a day's voting is done majorly on reference basis.political parties have their followers in the area from where they contest and arrange everything for themselves. this is my viewpoint. rest of the views are welcomed.

Nearly about 42% of people in India are still under poverty line and 34% of the whole population are still illiterate. Such population cant even earn their daily bread and butter to quench their hungar. They just need support of bread and roof to live. The one who promises them to fulfill their needs wins support of those people and politicians take advantage of the situation to earn trust of such people. No wonder that after getting their support politicians divert from their promises made to people because their aim was to get support and not to fulfill people's need.
It is very much understandable that politicians run their corrupt mind to earn support of poor people by any means. This indeed is a stream for criminalization of politics. Out of 42% of population who are under poverty level a many are illiterate. Most of them dont even know the meaning of voting. Such people dont go for voting as they are least concerned about it.
Let us suppose out of 34% of such kind of people only 25% people vote for those who give them promise of their bread and roof, still 58% of population remains who have their own brains to decide. Those 58% population are educated (to atleast minimum level) and they are above poverty line. Then why dont they vote using their brains. 58% is a huge number. Out of 58% population many of them go for voting because it is their right but they dont know how to excercise their right. Some of them go because failing to vote will result in removal of their name from that area. People dont think before they vote. They think all politicians are same and they are right to quite a large extent, but loosing interest because of this is not a right thing. People should keep on monitoring the past and present of the selected politicians and should select the next on the basis of their analysis. But people dont have time for this. At last no ones need is fulfilled and we blame the one who were selected by us. People will vote out of their interests and political parties will be selected out of peoples interests. And this is another stream for criminalizing the politics.
The origin for the sea of criminalization of politics is not one, many streams combine and nourish this sea. Every one has to clean their own stream with interests and sincerity. Every one has to understand true meaning of their rights. Only then the water level of Sea of criminalization of politics will reduce.
And about those 42% that I mentioned in the begning, their stream will only be reduced when those 58% people are able to reduce the level in their stream. This will help in selecting correct political parties which will inturn reduce the figure 42% gradually to nearly 0% and this will increase the 58% to nearly100%. This will not happen suddenly but it will happen gradually but for this those 58% brains need to be activated.
I beleave in this.
Thank You.

Yes i do agree wd your point..
Most of the politicians are working for selfish purpose, they don't bother the problems which general public are facing..
3 days back in manglore two political paries again prove that they are superior than goverment. these parties attark one of the pub throw out the people present there and beat all the peopl no matter boy or girl, they beat them because going pub is against our culture but they forget tha our kings also used to see dance in their palace and they also drink...
so now wht happen...??
Is general public are going to bear everything is done by political parties on the name of culture...??

De-criminalization of Politics Bill
Law Minister, Salman Khurshid told Economic Times [ 03,Sept 2011 ] :
“ We will shortly take a bill banning charge-sheeted individuals from standing for elections “
Harish Salve says,
“ This is a serious reform. This is better than the Lokpal Bill “
This Act would be a huge success if applied retrospectively
But, you guessed it right !
For the first time, Congress and BJP would come together ( in a un-holy alliance ? ), to defeat the “ retrospective “ application
Out of a total of 162 current members of parliament who have criminal cases pending against them, 44 belong to Congress !
And another 44 belong to BJP !
Of course, they can always add a rider that the “ retrospective “ provision does not apply to Congress / BJP members !
