we should not ban.why should we ban? so many people are giving reasons that we are adopting western culture.in western culture there is no eve teasing.what about dresses and all.somany are following western culture.will u go and tell them not to wear western dresses.no! nobody will listen.similarly no youth will listen banning of valentines day.bcoz it is a special day dedicated to lovers.le let them be happy.there will be special day for everything.like wise it is for them.

NNo. why shud we? there are many western things we r adapting even if they r gud or bad. celebration of this day is expressing one's feelings and its need of our country to express our love, affection to somebody. hence it becomes a mean to express those things that we cant normally.

According to my View,we shouldn't ban the Valentines Day, Coz It is the Day dedicated to the people who are in love, this is the day to Express their feeling to their Partner's, If we people think that it is a Westren culture, we Adopted so many Westren cultures,For Example Take a Dres code of our people, how many people are Wearing Dhotis and Kurta's in this country,and Look at those people who are Wearing Trousers and Shirts, and the Best Example is that , we are also Celebrating this Father's day, Mother's Day, and Friendship day, all these Days are Adopted by Westren Culture ,If we are Celebrating these days, why cant We celebrate this Valentines Day.......Thankq

I agree with you naveen bt we know that there r chances of creating a scene/nuisance on this day.People should celebrate valentines day bt shold not kiss in front of general public as wat d foreigners do.As INDIA is known 4 its culture and heritage so we should not harm our culture

there is no relation between celebration of valentines day and "creating a scene/nuisance" and danger on our haritage culture.
we live in such a country which adopt a lot of things form foriegners. celebration is ways to contact people . its ways of express urself. do everythin but stay in ur limit. and whts topic of harm our culture. every thing have some cons as well as pros.

look, there's nothing like eastern or western CULTURE..when you are in love, valentines day seems to be an opportunity or can say festival to you n if u are not involved in any kind of reationships then u dont carry such feelings..its like a normal day to you leaving you in a state of frustation in which u dont feel any importance of this beautiful day..although everyday is equally beautifull but categorising it as a "day of love" makes it special..ban is not a sollution to any issue, that to general one's..i also xcept this fact that there is always a probabilty of nuisance on such occassions bt then its nothin infront of our major festiwals like holi or diwali, where thousands of people die because of accidents..shoud they be banned..well i dont think so...n so do u..ban BAN..

no it should not be ban bcoz i think that valentines day celebration not only meant 4 couples or lovers .it is the day of celebration for all the people in the world irrespective of whether they r lovers or family members.the whole family can also celebrate the festival together as all the members are in love with each other n it is the festival of expressing love to one another.v love our parents,bro n sis.
Also each n every person in the world first loves himself/herself so v can also celebrate if there is no company,v can also purchase the gifts 4 ourselves
it is the festival like every other festival in the world .so take it chill pill
