hai friends, i think advertisement is not the wasteful expenditure because if u advertise ur product then ur product will be sold heavily in the market. if ur the new comer into the business and u dont know how to sell ur product then if u advertise ur product then it will reach to the coustmers very easily and ur product will be sold in a great extent.suppose the company like satyam introduced 108 ambulance but it is not known to the people at the later age of that but it reached to the all over andhra by the advertisement only. so, there is no wasteful of money in advertising

no advt is not at all a wasteful expenditure. it will add on to the company's product , when people come to know it they will by it . it helps to increase the company's brand image and the sale of the product. it is more better to give some money on advertising rather than trying to give commission to the marketer or salesmen . advertising is the most easiest way of selling company' product

Ofcourse i m agree to the statement that making a expenditure on advertisement is not at all a wastefull activity, the only concern that is importment that the advertisement should be free from from any fault or misleading statements.
