no i don thnk so...ya being good technical field can b a benefit like d phrase "sone pe suhaga"...but its nt manadatory..manager shud posses some technical knwledge but nt compusry dat he mus b perfect in dat..manager shud have ablility 2 do perfect planning and handle ne situation gracefully....a person wid such qualities can b a manager n doesnt matter hw much he is good in technical field...but he shud have a lil knwledge abt dat so dat he wont b cheated by ne1..
