Todays world is fully accomplished with competition..everybody is running behind the money ....a person's desires can never end..even the rich people have the desire to earn more and more...crimes are increasing day by day in youth because of their desire...they want money by any means ..and for that they are getting involved in the crimes...more will b the money in your hands more will be the facilities and more will be expenditure & in the end desire comes again...so we r not satisfied ...everybody wants to grow even higher than higher..this is how we live ..dis is how we think...its a human nature....!!!

desires have no end... d more we desire ..d more we suffer...i agree dat desires r required to move ahead in life but desires should be made in a limit....everything has it's own limit n if we try to move beyond d limit ..we have 2 suffer...in todays time every1 wants to have better life than others.... n in this race of getting better n better 1 forgets about every other thing.... life is to live ...so we must be satisfied in wat we get from it....

yes of course! that is the main reson behind one's life. there is no life without "desire". a person cant imagine without a desire.

desire spoils a man until and unless there is hard work included to reach his desire . a man also can desire which may not happen and if he is towards it , he is spoiling his career . the desires should be focused and should have a confidence that you can acheive it . a thorough research should be done on that or else you are spoiling it . a man can also desire for a beautiful girl .( rape ) example if the desire is extraordinary . so everything should be in limits .

I dont agree with the topic as if a person has no desire then he wont have any dreams too and if there are no dreams he wont reach anywhere, he will never be able to succeed.e.g if Dhirubhai Ambani didnt had desire, would there have been Indias largest co. reliance? Its basically GREED which is root to all sufferings as greed is the exccessive desire and excess of anything is harmful.So greed never let human get satisfied and without satisfaction level there will always be suffering.

In present the compition is increasing day by day...every wants money...to become rich n more rich...i think to get success we should desire ...bcoz we cant get nthing until we hav not desire to get sumthing...but money is not all....we should desire in limit...if one desire money a lot then he should not take a wrong way to get that....we should desire to do sumthing good...by this we can be safe from geeting suffered...

I agree with u. the greed is the root cause of all the sufferings.Yes desire is necessary in everyone's life without desire u can't succeed or get what u want.
let us take an e.g if their is condition that students get good college if they will score above 80%. then if their will be desire in u to take admission in good one then u will work hard, dedicate more & more time for it then u will succeed.Otherwise not.What we were,we were like animals but it's our mind and desire that we are superior then other's different life on earth.

i mean u cant blame desire for all the suffering as been said that we must limit our desires...........to limit our desires is also a desire. there is no scale of length of the desire but it is actually weighed on it rationale.....one must make sure that whtever he desires does not effect any one else by any means.

a life without desire will lead you nowhere. the jealous nature of the people is the causes of all miseries and not desire...if our ancesters did not have the desire to live a better life than what they have lived.we wouldn't have been here enjoying all the scientific inventions......

Desire, good topic to talk about it, anyway coming to topic. Desire, only because of this many people are doing wrong to fulfill their desires. Hard working is less but their desire is very very big. until there is hardwork we cant achieve our desire. there is no ending for one's desire, if he won a cycle, he looks for bike, if he own a bike, he looks for car,like this it go's on.........

i dont think that desire is root of suffering . desire is a antura phhenomena . if we achieve desire , it leads to happiness . if not , we feel un happy . it has affects like the 2 sides of coins . but desire is main reason for happiness of man

i m nt fully agree wid d topic that the desire is the root f al sufferings,,,as v know tht human desire is endless...wen one wish gets complete v wish for another n so on...bt on the another hand v cn say that desire motivates a person to to do different .....it inspires a person to work hard n achieve sucess in our lyf....if all will b fully satisfied in wt v hv,thn wts the meaning f such a lyf....desire makes a person keep on moving nt just siting n doin nthin....well if desire was nt thr ...thn this world would nt b like that as it is .....inventions,development...all are result f human desire.....so i dnt think its root f al d sufferings.i must say if u a hv a desire thn go for it........

yes desire s d main cause for all d sufferings.. right from the very beginning we begin to desire and we make dat d goal of life.. we remain prepared to do anything n any worse thg inorder to fulfil those so called desires... in tdy's wrld money is the basic requirement of evry individual.. so inorder to fulfil our desire we need money.. this s d main reason for all kind of brutal thigs and crimes occuring in our society.. the abduction of children for a demand of heavy cash, murdering d individuals, robbery etc all are for money which s used to fulfil d desire... dis s a ageold thg and has been believed from time immemorial... thus desire should be der in lyf but it must not b made d only goal of life.. this leads to only destruction...
