i think that it's a very difficult job to motivate them to spare the innocent...how can we teach the lessons of humanity to those who don't have mercy for anyone....they themselves have to realize that they don't have the right to take any one's life...by violence they can't get anything except hatered even from their own family members....we can't compel them to change their minds , they themselves have to make the initiative.....

Hi. the topic is vague bcaz you can not motivate a Terrorist to spare the innocent bcaz the terrorists are trained/brainwashed to kill people without mercy and hence we cannot change the mindset of terrorist unless they themselves change.

hi everyone..
this topic may be somewat different.but,we should think in a way to solve the problem....as vivekananda said..."we can do anything n everything, the power is wid in us".....
so,as the problem is concerned..it is the psychological change in the terrorists which make us fearful...so,we have to find out some solution in that way......

no one in this world is by birth a terrorist.like every human being every terrorist too have a understanding mind.what we have to consider here is how he became a terrorist.it may be because of the society from which he came, his friends, neighbours or may be his parents itself.ofcourse we can change a terrorist to a good human by pointing out the disasters he is going to face if he continue to be a terrorist and the loses an innocent person faces because of his illtreatment towards tht person.this can't be achieved by advising him only once.bt the responsible authorities have to inform him about this as many times as possible.nothing is impossible in this world.if we are success in changing a terrorist to a good person really it is going to be a boon for us.

well.. if u have to convince a terroist to spare a innocent...first of all you have to talk in their terms. They will not understand any morality issue.. so you have to remind them the repercussions of their act.. and besides this most of the terrorst thrive on the local public support for their hide outs so i the public can come out and strongly criticize them.. it can be possible... difficult but certainly not impossible.

hi!! The task may seem difficult because we have never thought of accomplishing this task before. We have always thought that the terrorists are demons and can never become saints. But we have read about 'Anguleemaar' who killed people and then one day he became a saint. So if we really try to change the mindset of a terrorist then we can surely save innocents. This can be done by using various tactics. We can tell them that if they keep on doing such an henious task then God will never forgive them and their end will be pathatic. We will have to show them that when a person gets killed then how his family members, kith and kins suffer. In all we will have to identify the root cause which made him a terrorist and then see if there is a way to change his mindset.

hello everyone... m quite impressed tat ppl hav so much lovely thots abt such issues..
well its quite difficult to convince a terrorist to spare an innocent but nt impossible..
as we all r familiar with this satement tat "rome ws not built in a day"..it will take plenty of efforts in doing so i think these terrorists r also human beings these also love thier families and lead a lif lik all of us..so if yhese r none differnt than us then why cant they be helped to come out of all of this..
govt shud make proper plans to giv jobs to such ppl if they leav all this..tv is the only way of our communication wit them so one shud make documentaries on them showing them ryt ways and lik sum resrvations(as done for sc/st tat seems to be worthless nwadays)... we all will hav to put effoets newspapers shud b provide wit proper lessons for them, showing them ryt ways..

there were a couple of good examples quotede by my friends like of 'angulimaar' to help us believe nothing is impossible, and as Banerzir Bhutto who has been assinated by terririst also said" always expect the unexpected" This task too is the same.Terrirists mainly attack innocents only and they have a purpose behind. If we are able to change their mindset and give a psycological impact on their mind that their purpose can also be solved without volience as Mahatama Gandhi too gave us independence with non-violenece only. And also we have to give them an emotional dose my making him realise of the after effects of his cruelty in terms of both religious and practicle and linking the same situation to their personal lives may have an effect on them. All follow a religion and making them realise that no religion permits this act.

This is a very important topic and I strongly believe that it may be a uphill task but it is possible. No one is a born criminal or mass murderer even villains like Hitler and Stalin want to pursue artistic carriers in their lives. It is our duty to end crime not criminals. Even the terrorists are born to a mother , they too have a family, so it is not that they will not understand the values of human life at all. I think the arrested terrorists should be put under strict survilence and should be treated as persons with mental problems.

i think it wont be a very difficult task to change the mind of a terrorist ,no is born as a terrorist their sorroundings are really making them a terrorist ,any way they are also humans.so if we deliberately try we can surely change their mind and can make them saints .for that we need to find out the root causes and we must start the treatment from there.

no one is born terrorist, some become terrorist just because of circumstances like something wrong must have happend wid him..or one opt for terrorism(esp uneducated poor ppl)to meet the ends for their family..but they are not actually bad from widin...if he is going to kill a innocent,we'v to make dem realise dat if u kill dis guy..may b his bro may bcum a terrorist..we shud ask dem to Q their conscience dat do they really want the history to repeat, jus lik he becam a terrorist?and if they r doing it for money then its v easy to divert their mind..coz they dont want to kill actually..their motiv is to make money and dat can b achieved by any other means..which will b provided by govt.

like nobody born with name or religion ,same way noone born as terrorist but the circumstances forced one to do so..so we should uderstand the root cause of the problem and then try to solve it ...and our history tells us that nothing is impossible and a demon can be turned to a saint ,we all know the conversion of valmiki from a demon to a saint and then he wrote the whole ramayana.......

well, while going through gd topics my eyes stopped over this issue because its really a brain storming and heartrending issue... its true that to change someone is difficult but love has that power to change anyone... i believe in Gandhian philosophy and yes it truly works.... so it would take time but nothing is impossible... i think we should make them realise the feeling of love and humanity and that will certainly change the mindset of the terrorist.

The only solution 2 this is the same way they are brainwashed to perform these activities. As some1 earlier mentioned about the fact that no 1 is born as a terrorist. So the way they are brainwashed to so heinous crimes in the name of jihad...similarly the government can ask some some influential leader of some religious party or some1 as powerful as that to ask people to be calm and live in harmony........it should be proposed in a way that this work asked for them to do is actually a work of god..and that god has chosen him to do it........

after reading so many opinions the movie of hrithik roshan i.e. kashmir came to my mind where he played the role of terrorist and the root cause of his transformation to terrorist was the murder of his whole family in front of his eyes.so such incidents are also happening with the innocent lives.

This topic is very interesting, acc. to me first we should think which thing was responsible to make him as a terrorist, then we can solve the problem. Becoz we have to not only to change the mind of terrorist about to take care about the coming youth. Some times conditions might not matter, but personal psychology, like in now days most of terrorist are educated. Some of them are computer Engg, Software Engg, Chemical Engg, some business men. Then how we can change the mind of these educated persons. For Example Lastly bomb blast in London done by terrorist who r really educated. Then how we can change their mind? . That is their personal psychology. A situation made terrorist can be changed but it is difficult to change the psychological terrorist.

according to me,terrorists r the persons who are trained by the anti-national communities..they are trained in such a way that they forget every human feeling and emotions..They think that to kill people is their only duty..and for this task, they can go to any extent...yet,i say that we can change them by our sincere efforts..if not completely but atleast to some extent...but in doing so,we have to keep this in mind that terrorists r not such from their birth..circumstances made them so....But this is a very difficult task....still we should keep trying...as it is said "Ummed par duniya kayam hai".....

hmm...really good topic...it comples me to think on it....actually before motivating them firstly we should know wt they exactly want? i mean wts the reason behind it? there is a kind of cause and effect relationship.....everyone can see the effect bt wt is exactly the cause?? only after knowing the exact cause we'll be able to motivate them....
