yes i think gandhiji holds relevant today because the principle which he had followed is humanity altruism and ethics. many corporates talk of ethics today which is nothing but gandhigiri

Well meenal i slightly differ from your point. Very few gandhiji's principles were followed now a days. for eg;- as you said common ethics . But what about humanism he teached? and sacrificed his life for teaching humanism.?

yes i think so. because gandhiji had show the world the path of non-violance ,truth ,peace by which india won the battle against british.
today also indian governor follow the path of peace

hiii......i believe dat some of his principles are stil relevent n will b in future 2...but some like he said dat if ne slaps u,jus present ur another cheek 2 get d oder 1....no dis is nt at all possible in 2days world rather if ne 1 tries dis wud get nt jus another salp but all extra kicks n punches 2....his principles like ethics,truth are follwed by many n will go on in d country like INDIA

Not at all..Actually he was big politician and friend of another ASSH* Jaharlal Nehru who was very famuos for his suxual desires and illicit SEX with so many women..what to tell?Unfortunately Mr. Gandhi is father of our nation and Nehru is Chacha(Uncle) and we are all useless bastards of our great country India..When Indira married Feroz Khan and great Gandhi told Jahar to change the title of his son-in law to Gandhi to become Indira as Prime Minsister..This is the complete ignorance of the viewers with their blind support..Try to come out from the idot box and make our country glorious..Try to analyize all the hidden truths from your rational minds and true reference..Thank you..

i would like you to read history books and not see movies which have shown dark side of mahatma. it is really dissapointing that youths like you are spreading such bad things about leaders. how can u forget wat these people did for our country. whole world is not fool which has acknowledged gandhi numerous times. even the great martin luther king followed gandhi's principle. wat message you are giving to the world by your statement is that u don respect freedom fighters of your country. try to look the positive aspects of gandhi rather than counting the black spots.he was a human being.he never said that he is mahatma.we gave him this name.to err is human .but that doesn't mean that u totally disgrace that person. truly said albert einstein that coming generation of india would not believe that a person like gandhi ever walked on this earth.

Wat I believe is, try to see the positive ends of any thing...there may be cases whn Bappu and Chahha had done somethin which they wr not supposed to do, but might have they tried to rectify them later, because they had reached to their oldage after they have completed their Teenage..There was an instance whn Bappu Puffed a Cigarette and felt sorry to himself when he realised smoking was against his ethics..So I believe he is our Bappu - Father of Our Nation and his Principles and Thiughts still hold relevance in todays Life

Sujith Pillai i totally agree to what u say. u r quite right that 1 should look at the +ve aspects first.. and actually we should follow what we find good in others and leave the rest. we should learn the lessons of peace,harmony and ethics as it's what now a days all are missing and actually forgeting. But ofcourse in case of terrorist activities going on we should really take strict actions against such defaulters. we should also remember that every one is not the same. Looks doesn't make a person terrorist or bad. If we will all follow the concepts of peace n ethics then we'll really find the situations changing according to what we want. Actually these things anger, frustation and tensions will really be reduced if we change the styles? ( Being self centered and forgeting our values) we are following these days.

hello....i dont think so that ghani g's ideals don't hold relevence 2day...coz in 2days world there is lot of corruption n every person feel jealous of each other n they even dont't see the progress of his brother. also according 2 gandhi g's ideals if a person slaps on ur one face u forward ur another face for salp...but this is not true 2days world. in 2days world bhagat singh's ideals are followed.according 2 him one should fight 4 his right n he has every right to get its right by hook n crock. if a person slap on ur one face then u should rply him by hitting him on his head. so i dont think tht gandhi g's ideals are not followed 2day....

enhance ur concept.1st u dnt stand to mightier enemy with complete ignorance and get severe bittings, u stand chance only by ur virtues be it patience, diplomacy or politics.it was relevant that time, now u have comparable enemies and u can slap back.it was contextual.2ndly, nobody has rights to interfare in their private lives. u might have dozens of GFs, who cares? and sex is big force.accepting it doesn't demean you but makes u wise and cautious.3rdly,feroz got gandhi title not because of politics or indira was to get prime minister chair. she was in early 20s and not in politics that time.it was because nehru was hard core brahmin family. gandhi gave his title to avoid big communalism issue.many educated and forward ppll were happy with hrithik roshan mariage with suzzane khan but next day a newly wed hindu-muslim couple was lynched.
