Technology has its own merits and limitations. There r few instances where we find ATM s failing to work; but, from a wider point of view, internet banking has offered variety of luxuries to its customers. " core banking" technology has made banking operations feasible in no time. i think the need of the hour is not to blame the technology for its malfunctioning; but to look into the "minute" problems that occur and try to get them right.

Yes... there are some cases with the consumers where their account was debited without them getting the money.. but the ATM has proven more useful technology than a problematic one. Earlier if one needed cash at the odd hour he had no choice to wait for the bank to open except borrowing money from a friend. With the advent of ATM now one can take out money from his account whenever he wants.. beside that one can also transfer his money to other accounts, pay bills, make donations etc.. ATM has brought the banking to a whole new level..

i stongly support ATM made our life comfort while drawing cash.ATM stands for any time money.it made a tremendous improvement in banking sector .before we used to draw cash from main banks only and now we can draw the money from that particular branch ATM s all over india and 24hrs.yet there are some cases where the common people suffers using atm.when they draw dey dont get money but it delivers a slip dat money is debited from a/c.in this cases some banks deliver the amount back within 2-3 minutes but some make 14 days and dey must write a letter to get their amount back.my idea is that if the problem comes banks must credit customer amount back in few minutes.as technology enters into new world this issue will be solved.

yes this is a great topic....according to me bank officials and software engineer must keep an eye on technology their are using in their ATM machine..and reponds immediately to customer compliant..yes it is better to use AT to draw money instead of standing in long line outside bank... i think only major problem arise with Govt bank ATM...govt officials are not even that much educated and not respond to the complaint immediately

well atms hav indeed made our lives much easier than it used to before. But since it is a creation of man with the aid of science,so one cant expect it to give quality service at all times.moreover cases like the one cited in d topic are a few in our country. If we look at the merits of atms dey far surpass dese demerits...and if d banking sector applies more skill and care in sorting out dese threats, dey will surely b able to prvide the peple a very convenient n hazard free service in d form of_atms!
