Ya i m agree upon that topic that soft skill should given a successive amount of priority over tehcnical but we should also remember that a person only good in soft skills and does not have technical knowledge is of no worth for company whereas a person with only technical knowledge but do not have good communicatio skills is also useless.
However soft skills are more important than technical knowledge because a man with only technical knowledge who can not express his knowledge in front of world is obsolete.

a man with technical knowledge can build a house, make weapons, hunt and survive.
a man with only soft skills can express himself wonderfully while he starves!

yes i agree with you , that a person with only soft skills and no technical knowledge is worthless since even if he studied technical skills he is not using them , i have seen many persons who have hood soft skills and technical skills, but they do not use their technical knowledge
but on the other side if you dont have good soft skills you can survive, if not than why there is reservation for persons with disability that is deaf and dumb in the institutes like IIT's and IIM's
A Dumb person cannot speak but he have that technical knowledge,

yes i agree with dis point just bcoz as we know dat evry organization need smart work not perticulrly technical or nt a foolish man.and in smart work d ratio of soft skills should b greater den all other skills.a person having soft skill can easily learn ny technical thing but a person who has technical knowledge but no soft skills is toally rubbish...........so we have to improve our skills first to go in ny field ..

I know many scientists and engineers (hard skills) who have later studied MBAs (soft skills).
I know of no one who has done the reverse!

i totally disagree wid u. a person with sound technical knowledge cant be neglected due to his poor
soft skils.he may not b able to xpress but his knowledge is of grt worth 4 d society as well.his knowledge cant go waste lik dat.if anybody has true knowledge no hindrance can com in d way to his succes.

no this is not happen actualy. i am totaly disagree with all ....becoz in my point of view soft skills and tech skills are both related to each other parallaly...in software industry...becoz if u r going to software industry then they will ask u soft skills defenetly but they in tech they will ask related to s\w and related to computer hardware knowledge ....they will not ask u like on embedded system and machine ......the tech skills also have there various parts...if u r going to mechanical field then they will ask only tech skills on the basis of tht field ..they will not ask any qun related to soft and compuetr h/w so this is the thing ....in software compnies the ratio is same ......we will not give importance to any knowledge
ok guies

i agree with rahul's opinion because we are living in a business world and we need some softskills to present ourself and our product in a successful manner and now in most of the jobs we have to work in a team where we should have something more than a technical knowledge thats nothing but softskills....according to me both the things should be in equal proportion

i think soft skills and technical skills both have equal importance bcoz with out having soft skills a person will not able to enter into corporate feild and after entering also if he/she doesn't have any technical knowledge they can't survive in this competative world....

I m agree partialy with dat topic. y bcuz without softskils we cant explaing, expresing, the technical skils.so we need both the skils then only we can achieve any thing in company.

Soft skills and tech skills are both important. I have seen such cases in my college the students who had excellent in technological skills but bad soft skills were not recruited. Students with soft skills got excessively recruited. So, guys i also agree that u r nothing if u don't have technology skills. Because u can do nothing without technology in this advanced world but, a person who is not able to express what he thinks, if he/she is not able to say properly what he/she wants to.......I don't think its good. Some soft skills are definitely required. You can't ignore them...!!!!!

according to me soft skills and tech skills should be in equal proportion because we r living in globlization and we need some soft skills to present ourselves and our product in a successful manner.but before present the product we have to develop that product and for that we need strong tech skills.so we are nothing in this advance world without tech skills.

accordin to me..soft skills r really important cos if we hav a product n we don know how to sell it...its of no use...it lies in our soft skills dat how we present de qualities of de item n make the customer buy it...

In this competitive world ofcourse soft skills are of major concern.Actually, nowadays softskills & tech skills are inseperable. To attain high goals ,both skills are to be nurtured.Basically, as tech knowledge is provided to good extent in institutes ,almost half d crowd is prominent in tech skills& thus d competition reaches to soft skills!
