yes, this is absolutely right. the big example is pratibha singh patil who is India’s first woman president. without giving any chance to women doesn't show their importance in this world.By pratibha ji it shows that women are equal to men.women not only take responsibility of their home but also take responsibility of their country.todays world women get equal opportunity of education, employement and to lead contry as men.

I partially agree to the argument. The election of a woman as a President of a nation, like ours, assumes greater signficance. But, today we find women being suppressed by their male counterparts, in many instances like eve-teasing, workplaces etc. in one part of the country, we find women excelling in politics, sports, business whereas the rural part ( which constiutes 70% of the nation) still did not experience any change. From times immemorial, women have been working as domestic servants and threatened by "male chauvinism". the need of the hour is "empowerment of women in rural areas".

Me too agree, because now a days womens are handling all the types of industry like management, researching industry and more & more they dint mind about their critical type of works and problems in that industry.once upon a time rarely the womens are worked, now a days every women would like to work in several types of industry as men. even though the womens in rural areas also willing to got forward to work in a many industry.because they believing that we are having the equval importance when compared with men.

I agree whole heartedly with the above statement. The fact that a woman can be given the highest post in our country, is something worth noting. Many women's groups have been trying and still continue to establish women's empowerment. Although, I think that our country may have already achieved it, by making Pratibha Singh Patil the President of India. Womens empowerment is about liberating women from their main domestic role. by giving a woman such a high responsibility, it shows that women are not looked at solely as homemakers but also responsible and capable enough to run a country. Women are no longer seen as subservient to men. This shows that they are considered equal. This has in some way curbed gender inequality according to me.

'm in favour of above statement. because woman power and status has been increased and it is also inspiring other people also in rural areas. people are getting aware that girl child is not a curse for them.
