when we don't do anything that time we blaming over another. we never gonna understand is this good or bad.I think you guys are quit right but why some one preferred to invest their money in cricket not any other sports.Do you know the problem is we never gonna to find out why they are not interest to invest to money in another sports,we always gonna to find out cricket get the all investment. If we take a real life example then we should understand,in a class lot of student there but first boy getting all preference.do you know why????????because his/her performance.you wanna get highlighted then you have to do your best performance.I wanna give you another example like you have 10 type of company, you get large profit from company A and loss from another 9 company. That time you should invest amount in company A and gonna for analysis to other company why other company making loss. One thing i agree there is lack of infrastructure in India. we have to over come those things.

hi frnd,i dont agree with you at all,may be all parents of our country do dream of their children being 'sachin' or 'dhoni' but not another v. anand or a pele or a nadal .why?a large population,so diversity, billions of people, dont they give good results in other sports?because we dont wanna do this.we dont dream of this.it needs a good infrastructure, resources, govt help to develop.india has a good osition at cricket.bt what about olympics, fifa, wimbledon, hockey?cricket isa good game but some of the money earned from this business should be spent on other games so that we can grow up in all aspects in front of the world.

yes it is definitely harming other sports. Cricket is getting more glamorized and has become money making business.MNC's are investing in cricket. Media also creates hype about cricket. Youth are interested in joining cricket because of money in it. Although performance has been same in hockey and cricket yet cricket s more popular because of money in it. In run of money associated with cricket, we have forgotten our national game hockey and other games.

My reply to Surajit,You gave very good example and some extent i am ok with u,as u have said that all the prefernce given to the Student who secure 1st position, this is point where we are lacking the one who got 1st position is better but what about others.I think we(Teachers) should work hard on those student so that they also do better in future.I think Media can play more important role by telecasting more and more article on these sports,So that new generation would get inspiration from that.
