Government Jobs Interview Questions

Well as I am doing my graduation in software no doubted I would like to choose development side where I can apply my subject knowledge. But anyway to join anywhere communication skill is important.
As sowmya said BPO job seems to be like a routine work as attending calls from overseas and there is no way to implement our knowledge anywhere.
Hai friends
It is very good gd topic. My pt of view "development side is better"
Bcoz BPO is temporary one .if after some day even some s/w can be created to replace bpo staffs. (I.e.) for customer question s/w give answer to it.
Next, in this field we can't improve our skills.
Nowadays it is not safety for women’s.
So, programming development side is better.

Hi,
This topic cant be a GD topic anyway. Work is workship no matter where u work. The domain of work will be varied from person to person. Believe me guys, i am working as a recruiter in a US based IT company and i think this kind of discussion never comes in either coorporate sector or in B schools selection process.

HI, i would like to ask everyone a quetion on this who said that their is no development if u opt for ITES/BPO. There r some speakers here who said that they r engineers so they cant opt for this.bpo's r the one of the rapid developers infact.they provide with maximum employment and greater future opprtunities. being n engineer u know how the product is so u can better explain ur customer. on the otherhand a management student can use his/her skill to handle the clients n be the most wanted person with whom a customer would like to deal.hence, what i think these sectors have given the max exposure to its employees irrespective of whether he is an engineer or a management student or an art background student. it his his capability that how he can best implement his learning in a field having a mix of every category of employees.

WELL I WILL SAY THAT I WOD LIKE TO WORK ON THW DEVELOPMENTR SIDE BCOZ THERE WE CAN SHGOW R TALENT AND ADAPT THE THINGS WHICH WE HAV LEARNT IN OUR RESPECTIVE CUORSES .AND GET EXPERIENCE . WHICH IS BENEFICIAL FOR US IN FUTURE . WE CAN ALSO INVENT OR DO RESEARCH ANY THIN RELATED TO UR FIELD WICH WILL BE BENEFICIAL FOR UR SELVES AND FOR THE CUNTRY ALSO .
BUT WHEREAS BPOS COME IT IS SOMTHIGN NOT GOOD FOR THE YOUTHS TO GO AS THERE IS ONLY JOB TIL 3-5 YRS AS AFTER THAT THERE IS ILL EFFECTS OF THE JOB ON OUR HEALTH . WHICH DETIORATED THEN THERE IS NO USE OF US IN THE BPOS . THERE IS NO SECUROITY OF JOB THERE , WE CANT INVENT OR RESEARCH ANY THING THERE .

in country like india many work or take a job for making a living 2 full fill their needs and plan their future. getting jobs is not that easy bu nowadyas we can c large no of openings in IT and BPOs. now if u consider BPOs they need a person of good personality good communication skills etc... and basic computer knowledge even 1 can join BPO after 12th so BPO jobs r boon 4r strugglers and parttimerrs 2 full fill there needs but really the pattern is no 1 sticks 2 that job 4r ever bcoz of same old routine work .... and limited success but if ur in technical side may be a IT company or Technical side in BPO u may b paid less in the beginning but they really make a development in ur life a devlopment which needs Graduation in Computers where u use ur skills and get expertise in them , where u get rewards frequently, and where u use ur innovative skills ie there is total development of u so thats why people make a aim 2 go 2 development side.

I would like to go for development sides. as i am doing engineering. for development side increase my technical skill and domain knowledge. I can use by creative and intellectual skill in development side and can become the project manajer. but in bpo i've to jst give the ans of overseas customers. no matter communical skill is required in both whether it is bpo or development side. u can increase uor knowledge in bpo also but pragmatism approach is best as all we know for doing a work. we get lot of experience in that work........

hello friends
in my opinion ites/bpo sector r good if people r ablle to work in bpo/it and then they can also develop their career in another stage, it can me help like a intiatior . if person are professional then they have a option to choose development side but i want to ask that in india most of the people go for job just after 12 or gradution they does not have any specific diploma or degree so on that situaton bpo/its can be a good discussion

i would prefer development side,as we can improve our knowledge, also we can implement what we have studied and the main thing is we can improve our thinking capability, creativity which is beneficial in future.
on the other hand BPO'S their is a minima of ones development and of cource maxima of improving communication skills.speaking 2 foreigners on phone is not a big deal if one take training any one can do this.Actually bpos are only meant for improving communication skills nothing else.communication skills are not alone the parcel of ones life we need 2 be good in every field.
so lastly i conclude being qualified in every field is best rather than in only one field. so i do opt for development side.

hai frnds in my point of view it's /bpo's are better than development side because nowa days all the fields require communication skills .with out these skills we can't improve our selves today.i know that it's a routine work but today software comoanies have very rapid growth.the it's/bpo's are paid more.hence it's better to avoid devp side.

in piont of view i prefer the bpo/ite'sare better than the developementside .becoz,so many middle class families after completing thier graduation they cannoy studied higher education becoz of their money problems .so they want to working companies.in bpo's give that oppurtunity to that people so i supported bpo's

I would prefer the development side. It's not that we can express our creativity in work only in development side but not in ITES/BPO. But the oppurtunity of expressing, enjoying the work, satisfaction is more in development side than ITES/BPO. eg: in some of the call centres if u go about seeing there is sales target. u need to do fulfill it within the time slot. u dont have the oppurtunity to put in ur views. uve been ordered and u need to do that.
in other fields like safety and health development side is better. in ites/bpo no security for ur jobs and for ur life or health..extra time work more stress..we can ask the govt to give us the security to work in ites or bpo but they just speak and zero in action.
so i feel dvlpmt side is gud.

i prefer development side whcih is developed from the basics of subjects taht i learned. i agree with th e competion that faced in development side . but real challenges r necessary to develop gud enginnerings . those who feel that money is more prefered than core. they can prefer ites. becaz lot of opputunities in inda for such sector. but for those who feel challenging can opt development side

Hi....
Keeping present situations in mind I would like to prefer whatever job I get because of decrease in software boom....Even though am pursuing engineering I would enter into any field and will try to mould myself to that particular job whatever it may be(ITES/BPO)...because if i stick to development side I may not settle soon..therefore first I'll go for any field and then try to enter development side

hello friends.
as i am a computer student so both the job whether bpo/it are good options .according to me if we are learning subjects which are based on computer so my first priority will be an it job because i will be able to implement all those things which i learned earlier but if we see the other side of the coin then one can go for bpo also because there is a lot of scope of development and it will improve ur communication skills which are very important in every field.

I prefer development side becoz for both the jobs communication skill is required but in the case of development side we can implement our technical skill and it will increase, we come to know about many things what we actually don't know and in the case of call centres the job doesn't have job security and better be on the safe side and BPO jobs are not suitable for womens also.

I prefer development side becoz in this side we can have so many levels i.e., programmer, tester, designer, analyst and so on... I think this kind of thing we cant see in ITES/BPO side.

hi,friends
as per the topic i would like to choose development side.because as per my opinion in IT/bpo's there is so limited scope,we can't explore ourself and even after a long time experience, the experience is countless.so i would like to prefer development because in that only we can develop our ideas ,skills our willpower and can implement our thoughts related to our subject.or we can explore our limitations....and now a days in every field communication skills is must.

Sanjay
Great work by the moderator who made all the experience people to discuss about the topics which are quite requisite by the corporative domain.which could be very helpful to the guys who are graduates and job seekers.
as far as i concern regarding this topic ,my opinion was it depends on one's aspect..we cant discard or underestimate the Bpo/It based companies..if some one who doesn't well at his domain knowledgeable and good at the communication skills ..Defntly one can attend to the bpo and he could be feel honor with the environment which he has to be get in.there all lot of MNC's which are offering enormous paying which can be comperable with the tech jobs .so as obvious if one is not good at communication and laging in aggregates muste face the starving problems..so some BPos are acquring such people and making them effective with the communication skills wich is neverthless, that can work fr one's in the tech companies interview basic proccess and now a days lot f jobs were simply getting away to the peple who are weell reffered by some one..so at least i waana conclude tat,,both the fields are independent 2 one an other and bpo is nevertheless..

As an engg student i go with development side coz everybody prefers the job where they will get the chance to impliment there knowledge.on the other hand in it/bpos there is no use of technical skills, just if you are graduate and have good communication skill u can work there.it is routine based and everyday we have to do the same just pick the calls and replying to those.whereas in development side we always have a chance of work on new project use our knowledge whice inhances our knowledge work become more interesting.

Hi frends I'm a engineer in electronics and I always prefer a technical job. I feel IT gives us a huge space to exhibit our our innovation and it's true that we equally earn well. However I do not want to underestimate BPO sector. Is that not true that they are also a part of of our life. Just take an example of our network providers like airtel, vodafone... etc don't you think they need people who can work on to solve our queries?? imagine you got a problem, your sim got blocked where do you run?? you will simply make a call to customer care ask them to unblock it.. SO I feel that both ITes and technical development both have the equal importance and it's our interest to choose one among them..
IT development can only have importance and can find it's improvements or the requirements only when people use and give a feedback on it. And it is the BPO sector that understands the trouble and escalates the requirement to the IT to develop a program to satisfy the need of the people. So frends I feel both are inter related and we should accept both of them at the same time we should see that we are implementing what we have studied.
