B.E PROJECTWORK:
Title: Automatic Storage And Retrieval System

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
All through craft history and technological progress, several attempts have been made a device "that looks and behave as humans do”. This project is one such attempt and desires to create duty-driven devices capable of executing human tasks. The overall system includes a 3-axis robot arm controlled by a PC, which is advancement over the older versions of microprocessor controlled robot arms.
The robot arm is driven by three stepper motor driver cards, which are in turn interfaced to PC through an Add-on card. An I/O card is used for communication between the stepper-motor cards and PC. The mechanical structure is a Stanford arm, which works with cartesin coordinates. The front end is created in 'C' language. The robot arm can be moved to the desired position receiving input from the user himself, makes the entire system more user-friendly.
This project is a simplified robotic system integrating the aspects of accuracy, speed and easy control through varied programming modes. It is great relief to manual fatigue due to work cycles under hazardous conditions. In future, the 3-axis robot arm can be advanced to 6-axis robot arms.
MINI PROJECT:
Title: Remote controlled Fan Regulator
Organization: Christian College of Engineering and Technology
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The conventional fan regulator has been upgraded as a remote controlled regulator here. It has got various advantages like the speed range can be selected from 0 to 9 by means of remote control which cannot be achieved by conventional type. Also there will not be any heating in the regulator unlike conventional regulators. The control is based upon the variation of the selection of the position of the TRIAC firing.
