Description This system is used for tracking a target with respect to latitude and longitude on the earth. To achieve this we have used one GPS module and one GSM module which are connected to a microcontroller unit. Whenever the user sends an SMS to the GSM modem, microcontroller unit will get the appropriate request by sending standard AT commands, and sends request to GPS module from the microcontroller in the form of NMEA standard command sentences, to get the vehicle longitude and latitude. After that by processing the received data in microcontroller, the reverse SMS with position will send to the user’s number from GSM modem. The GPS module in this system will communicate with the satellite and receives its current position (target position).
