Project: Project title: FPGA BASED DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM IN TELEMETRY SYSTEM Role: coding and implementation Description: The main objective of this project is DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM, which is used in Telemetry system . its purpose is to collect various data from the sensors and sub systems and send back to ground station. This mainly consists of two cards, which are, 1. Analog Discrete card. 2. Micro controller card. The analog discrete card acquires analog signals from sensors and discrete signals from sensors and discrete signals from other sub systems. This output of Analog discrete card is sent to stackable connector which is a 300 pin to which a Micro controller Card is interfaced. The data is then given to A transmitter, which sends the message at a pre-defined frequency, so that the signal can be caught with ease at a particular receiver on the base station.
